The Keris Pusaka enamel pin.

The design is a keris dagger intertwined by a snake. The keris is both a dagger and a spiritual object. It is a symbol of pride in Javanese culture, where my father is from. There are keris that are used as accessories and there are the special ones that are meant to be passed down from one generation to the next. The word 'pusaka' means heirloom. The special ones are forged by a metalworker who is skilled in both making the keris as well as putting their spiritual knowledge into the keris. Every keris object is said to be possesed by a spirit and this spirit can bring luck and protection to its owner.

The pin is made of nickel-plated iron. There are two butterfly clasp at the back of the design.

It is 4.6 cm on its length and 1.5 cm on its width.
